This scheme, known prior to April 2006 as 'Right To Buy' or 'Right To Acquire', is were an existing Registered Social Landlord or Council tenant exercises their right to purchase the property in which they are currently living.
A discount proportional to the amount of time the tenant has been renting the property is usually applied, making this scheme very popular.
